The economy continues to be the focus of this report. Unrest in Iran will continue, and possibly elevate over the month of December. This coupled with a small growth in the US dollar will cause a small spike in the cost of a barrel of oil. The swap arrangement will have a short term stimulating effect limited to US markets. Investment banks should set forth 5 year investment plans focused on a slowly growing US economy. Investors should target at least 10% of their portfolio at domestic companies with strong exports to Asian markets. The transportation sector of the economy will also payoff within 5 years; however, international transportation will likely have the largest growth over the next few years.

Summary: The US markets have the potential for a full recovery if the focus is on increasing trade with Asian markets, and growing domestic industry with specialized trade that favors trade agreements with Asia. European markets will have some stability in the short term. However, it is the current assessment of this report that investors should be selective about their investments in Europe. The Euro will likely loose an additional 5% of its value. It is too early to tell if the European markets will have another rapid decline.
